Obituary for Robert Webb Jr.
Robert F. Webb, 89, Colorado Springs resident since 1955 passed away July 7, 2017.
Robert was born on March 27, 1928 in Indiana, Pennsylvania, the son of R.F. and Edna (Oppel) Webb.
Robert served in the U.S. Army for nine years, obtaining the rank of Sergeant First Class, and having served in the United States, Japan, Korea, and Germany.
He left the Army to be employed by Mountain states Telephone Company (now CenturyLink) as Frameman, Installer-Repairman, Plant Line Assigner, Estimate Assigner and Facility Specialist for thirty-five years.
He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara of fifty-five years.
He is survived by his two daughters, Kris (Bob) Nielson and Robin (Cary) Randol, both of Colorado Springs, eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00PM, Friday, July 28, 2017 at Evergreen Funeral Home Chapel, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd. Private interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 Hancock Expressway.
