Obituary for Tyler Logan Scott Lopez

Tyler Logan Scott Lopez passed away on November 21, 2018 at the age of 16. He was a student at CaƱon City High School.

Tyler had a wonderful sense of humor and brought a smile to everyone. He struggled and overcame much very early in his too short life. He enjoyed constructing things from an early age and was pursuing a vocational path in High School. He had also developed a strong interest in film making and had a dream of moving to Los Angeles to pursue that career in some form. He loved being with his cousins in Colorado Springs and often involved them in his film making. He was an avid and skilled video gamer and had discovered painting.

He is survived by his parents Mindy Dow and Haley Lopez; grandmothers Karlee Thompson and Regina Dow; grandfathers Richard Lopez and Dennis Dow; siblings Tristan Dow, Serina Lopez, and Carson Lopez; his aunts Patricia Hansen, Jill Cecil, Aubrey King, Gabi Voss, and Michaela Thompson; his uncles Drew Thompson, Les Voss, Jason Cecil, David Hansen and Jeremy Thompson; great aunt and uncle Cheryl and Jeff Taylor, his nephew Pheonix Ames; and his cousins Burgundy Schermer, Nate Schermer, Kaedyn Thompson, Braelynn Thompson, Lucas Thompson, Luna Thompson, Kailyn Cecil, Joshua Ames, Courtland King, Carson King, Ashton King, Willow King, and Lyndon Voss.

He is proceeded in death by cousins Violet King, Angel Hansen, Nevaeh Hansen, Cody Landry who died in vitro and Crimson King at birth.

A Visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00PM followed by a Service, Friday, December 7th at Evergreen Funeral Home, 1830 E. Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910.

Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 Hancock Expressway, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Suicide Prevention Partnership Pikes Peak Region, 704 N. Tejon Street, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903.
