Born Aug. 13, 1937. Died Jan. 6, 2018.
Engineer in the United States Army, longtime Colorado Springs resident. Survived by two sons, Leo J. Richard, Jr., and Timothy Hayes; ; three daughters, Julie Shaw, Pamela Bitner, and Donna Kieltyk; ; three brothers, Norman Richard, Calix Richard, Jr., and Roger Richard; his 16 grandchildren and his caretaker, Bonnie McGuigan. Visitation, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m Wednesday, Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, Evergreen Funeral Home. Funeral service, 11 a.m. Thursday, Evergreen Funeral Home. Burial, Evergreen Cemetery.
