Condolence: Jeff was always the grownup in the room with dry quick humor. He was forever learning and sharing. I respected him and his work ethics. He was a pleasure to work with in the Metro Crime Lab, and although I was his "supervisor" he was the teacher and I thank him for that. I will miss him. Prayers to his family

Condolence From: Barie Goetz
Condolence: My condolences to you, your family and all of Jeff's friends. I first knew Jeff from working together on cases when he was with the Sheriff's Department and I was with the CBI. Our association continued after we both retired and started private consulting. Jeff was the individual I recommended when I couldn't work a new case. I recommended Jeff because in addition to his skills, he had integrity, something that is rare in our community. He will be missed.

Condolence: Jeri. I’m just letting you and the family know that you’re in my thoughts and prayers. You shared an awesome tribute to Jeff’s life in this obituary. Although the miles are many our friendship has always remained. Love is so hard at times like this. Because your heart hurts, so does mine.

Condolence: My condolences to Jeff's family. I'm very grateful to have known Jeff as a teacher and a friend. He left an impression on me that has contributed to shaping my life...the curiosities in science and learning and his humor that was not ever far behind. The world is better because of him. We will miss him.
