Obituary for Alvin Lee King IV

Al King passed away at his home in Colorado Springs from natural causes. He was 60 years old.

Al graduated from Daingerfield High School in Texas, and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Sciences. He worked many different professions, from the Gazette in Colorado Springs, to asbestos abatement, teaching and electrician. Is electrical work took him to various locales, from Utah, North Dakota and Alaska. He said things as he saw them, which made for some enlightening conversations. He had varied interests and talents, such as carpentry, music, history, politics and current events.

He is survived by his sister, Cindy Wilkinson of Pennsylvania, and numerous friends from all over the country

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The American Diabetes Association or TESSA of Colorado Springs. As Al was fond of saying, his family extends “Love and Bullets” to all his friends and loved ones.
