Carol Jean Iberg (Nixon) departed life this life June 10, 2017.

Carol was preceded in death by her son Kevin Collins, stepdaughter Deana Gardner, father John Nixon, mother Kathryn Lancaster, and stepfather Jeff Lancaster.

Carol is survived by her husband Dean Gardner, sisters Joan Wolford and Sheila McNeill, children Corey Collins (Mona), Kelly Muirheid (Jay), Jeffery Iberg (Lisa), Rose Sturdevant (George), Gale Gardner (Mandy), Vickie Gardner, grandchildren Courtney Ebner, Caleb Collins, Bailey Collins, Danielle Meek, Ariel Collins, Brandi Collins, Matt Bloom, Stephanie Bloom, Nia Iberg, Josh Iberg, Kathrine Gardner, Candace Gardner, Christopher Sturdavandt and Sakora Berry, as well as eleven great-grandchildren.

Carol retired from the City of Colorado Fleet Department. She loved to fish and hunt.

A Viewing will be held from 1-2PM, Saturday, June 17, 2017. A Funeral service will be held at 2PM Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Blunt Mortuary, 2229 W. Colorado Avenue. Internment will occur at Crystal Valley Cemetery, Manitou Springs. A Reception will follow at Thirsty's Tavern, 2028 Sheldon Avenue.
