Alma Louise Moser

Alma Louise Moser, a long time Colorado Springs resident, passed away on May 27, 2017, surrounded by her family. Alma was born in Ketchum, OK, on December 21, 1913, to Silas and Ida Austin.

Alma was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Clifton L. Moser, former minister of Bethany Baptist Church, her parents, and 1 brother and 2 sisters.

Alma is survived by 4 daughters, Marilyn Rawls, Patricia Deanne Vandermiller, Betty McPherson, and Eileen Holbrook, and 1 sister, Ann Rogers. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 2 great, great-grandchildren.

Alma loved being a minister’s wife, a mother, and a grandmother. She played an active roll in Bethany Baptist Church, especially in the nursery department and The American Baptist Women’s group. She was a member of the Old Colorado City Historical Society and the West Side Care and Share program.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 31st, at Blunt Mortuary Chapel, 2229 W. Colorado Avenue, 634-8831. The funeral will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, at The Sanctuary Church, formerly Bethany Baptist Church, at 1930 W. Colorado Ave.
