Johanna Gentry lived a long and beautiful life surrounded by the family and friends she loved. She died peacefully at the age of 87. Johanna was born in Pilzendor in Upper Schlesian Germany. She fell in love with Jim Gentry, a young US Airman, in 1953. They traveled the world, raised a family and in 1973 retired in Sierra Vista, Arizona.

She is survived by son Christopher Gentry, daughter Joanie Sousa & son-in-law Chris Sousa. Also surviving are grandchildren Erin, Zack, Nick, Corey and Connor and great-grandchildren Thomas, Stella and Silas as well as numerous brother and sister-in-laws and nieces and nephews. Her husband Jim Gentry and sister Elizabeth Hein preceded her in death.

Johanna was a loving and generous mother, grandmother and friend and of all the places she lived, her 38 years in Sierra Vista ranked as favorite.

She will be missed by so many and forever in our hearts.
