Condolence: We have had the privilege of knowing Ernest Loran Toepfer as friend, christian, officer and gentleman.

His faith was manifest in the way he cared for his wife through out their marriage.

His children knew him best as father who did his best for them and our United States.

He maintained unsurpassed integrity in service to our county and it's people.

Just this past September,His peers saw him receive a medal for service in North Africa during WWII.

Last fall we saw him riding in a Veterans Day parade with several others who came home from WWII.

It was a privilege to see him smile and wave to those viewing them.

On a recent Labor Day weekend he joined us during a Sunday school class. Both retired and active military shared appreciation for his service. As a gentleman he listened intently to their stories.

Taps and the chimes of time ring out the news another's day is through.
