Dorothy leaves behind a loving family, Mike and Dot Evango, Dan and Linda Evango, and Bill and Linda Evango. Grandchildren; Crystal and Matt Smith, Sara Evango and Kelly Evango. Great granddaughter Brooklynn Smith. She is survived by her 2 sisters, Charlene and Della and her brother Larry. Dorothy is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Dorothy was born in Clifton, Kansas in 1925. She met the love of her life, Michael Evango after moving to Colorado. Together they lived all over the United States and abroad until they retired and settled in Colorado Springs. Family was always the most important thing to Dorothy and she made those she loved feel like family. She will be greatly missed by all.

Services will be held at the Evergreen Funeral Home in Colorado Springs, at 1830 E Fountain Blvd. Viewing will be on Monday, January 5, 2015 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM. Memorial Service will be Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 10:00AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society .
